Whats the point of making higher lvl gems? like this : Glowing gem gives +5 def but at 4lvl it still gives 5def...
are higher lvl gems giving any + ???

lvl1 gives +5 then lvl 2 will give 5+5 so +10 then lvl 3 will give 5+5+5 so 15 etc

He might be asking because when you see the gems in your backpack, they all say the base lvl 1 stats, but when you equip the lvl 2,3,whatever gems, the real stats show up like Byzryb said.

So yeah you see lvl 1 as 5 def and lvl 4 as 5 def, but when you equip the lvl 4 you will have 20 def. Hope it helped.
